Teams are more than just a group of people. They are a way to harness different perspectives, ideas, and skills to accomplish something greater than any individual can. But teams can fail to achieve their potential if they don’t work together effectively. We believe that the best teams are made up of people who know how to collaborate with emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence (EI) is a term used to describe the ability to understand and manage emotions effectively. EI includes skills and knowledge and can be developed through learning, training, and experience. Understanding your emotions, reading others’ emotions accurately, and responding appropriately to them can improve your relationships at home or work.

Program outline

This unit intends to prepare participants for the assessment and introduces them to the basics of emotional intelligence, why it is important, and the first practices to increase self-awareness.
We use Genos’(R) Emotional Intelligence assessment tools to provide individual feedback and a 360-degree view of how participants are perceived by their peers and team members. This tool provides an extensive report which will be debriefed in a separate one-on-one session with one of our facilitators or coaches.
This workshop is designed to help teams improve collaboration by increasing self-awareness and improving relationships through applied emotional intelligence. The facilitators will lead the group through a series of activities that help move from a place of tension, conflict, and ambiguity to one of increased trust, understanding, and productivity.
We offer individual coaching as a follow-up to help implement new learnings and develop emotional intelligence. Our coaching is an individualized, confidential process that supports individuals in creating awareness, improving communication, and strengthening relationships with professional guidance, providing a safe space to share thoughts and discuss challenges.

Who should attend?

This program is designed for teams that want to create stronger relationships and advance their collaboration skills within the team and beyond. The recommended size of teams is 4-20 participants. Our one-on-one coaching is designed for managers and leaders who want to improve their emotional intelligence, create stronger skills and relationships, and excel in their leadership.

She has a degree in psychology and is experienced in working closely with relationship and leadership coaches. She is passionate about understanding human psychology and its application in work organizations and understanding the challenges and needs of emotional intelligence in work environments. In our training programs, Minahil Azmat helps our clients to gain an understanding of the definition and the importance of emotional intelligence and helps them find ways to develop it. She assists in providing tools to increase emotional intelligence in the workplace and to help our clients be more effective, empowering, and empathetic contributors and leaders. Minahil Azmat is a certified facilitator for the Emotional Intelligence tools by Genos(R).

Dr. Mandy Zimmermann has long years of experience in corporate management in the area of quality assurance and has been developing interdisciplinary and cross-cultural teams on 4 different continents. Being an ICF-certified coach and facilitator with a background in engineering and science, she understands the challenges and needs of our clients as an organization, team, or individual. As the Chief Operations Officer of the Zarghami & Zimmermann Corporate Consulting Group, Dr. Mandy Zimmermann helps our clients develop human capital programs that are tailored to their unique situations. All our programs are highly customizable. We offer tailored workshops and facilitated work groups, specifically customized to your team’s needs as a follow up to each of our programs. Individual coaching sessions can help participants intensify their learnings and understand how to implement them beyond the main program, and team coaching sessions are available for teams who want to continue their learning journey together and keep improving their collaboration skills.
Follow up coaching is also recommended for managers of participating teams in order to deepen their understanding on managing diverse teams and supporting them in their collaboration efforts.
